Life (or death) in a post-apocalyptic world. Whether it’s zombies, aliens, a plague or global thermonuclear war, in fiction and film, the end of the world as we know it is always bad, but most stories of the apocalypse take place after the event has changed the world for the worst (hence the “post” in post-apocalyptic.)

For the millions of fans of the PA sub-genre, the stories of life “after” are something we all find thrilling no matter the circumstance. It’s all part of that fantasy many of us have. Could we survive? Am I the hard-core lone survivor travelling the wastelands scratching out a life in the dust of a dead world? Maybe you always see yourself as the leader of a hardened band of scavengers, pulling what existence you can from the rubble of a world long gone? Are we all just part of the colony that has sprung up far into the middle of nowhere, each of us taking part in keeping the community alive despite the dead lands beyond the cobbled-together walls of junk?

If you love these kinds of stories, then the new website Apocalypseguys.com is the perfect place for you. It’s just beginning, and the team (which includes myself) are working to bring you, the intrepid survivor, the best in post-apocalyptic content.

We’ll have the usual film, television and book reviews, but we’re also developing exclusive content just for you. Do you have a photo with a post-apocalyptic feel? Send it in, we’ll write a piece of flash fiction to be featured along with your image. We’re also in the process of creating a web-series of short-film pieces set in a PA world. If you’re getting your gear ready for the end-days, we can help with that too, as we try out everything you might need, from weapons to water filtration, shelter, emergency food (or how to prepare that squirrel you trapped) and so much more.

We’re just getting started and we’ve got a ton of great ideas for the future, no matter how bleak it may seem. So, won’t you join us over at Apocalypseguys.com. Stick with us as you journey through the darkest parts of a dying world. We’ll get you through the wastelands.

In the meantime, check out this interview with actor Patrick Constantine Bertagnolli Jr. from The Walking Dead.  http://apocalypseguys.com/actorpatbertagnolli/

Eleven-year-old Matthew Cormier could only watch as the living dead killed his family. He can still hear their cries in his nightmares. With her dying words, his mother screamed at him to run.
He listened.
Three years later, Matthew has made a quiet life for himself living in an abandoned junkyard. He spends his time honing the skills that have helped to keep him alive, for now. Practicing with his bow, building traps and scavenging what he can from the dangerous world around him.
It’s been nearly a year since he’s seen another living person.
That’s all about to change.

The American Revenant Movie is now live for all the world to view! Share it with your friends, spread it like the plague, worldwide!

Hi all, It’s been a while since I mentioned anything about the forthcoming American Revenant movie, the short film I’ve been working on with director Josh Mullner. There are a couple more pick-up shots that Josh has to get done this week. Other than that, the short is into Sound FX and music. It’s happening, folks! Keep an eye on things here and I’ll make sure you know when we are going to release it for the zombie loving populace.

For now, make sure you and all your friends have read the series and watched the trailer!

As a special treat to the fans and friends of American Revenant, I have written a short story that ties the film and the series together (there are elements in the movie that aren’t in the book). I am editing this now, and will have it available as a free download shortly after the film’s release.

Thanks for your patience and support!
