I’ve written a new short film! Though it isn’t set in the American Revenant world, it is a fun action/sci/fi project that we hope leads to doing a feature film. As with any film project, we need funds to make it come together the way we envision it. If you’d be so kind as to check out our crowdfunding campaign, donate if you can, even if it’s just a few dollars, and share it, we would appreciate your help in bringing this awesome story to life. https://igg.me/at/FriendFilm/x/16632227

I’m not sure how I feel about doing this GoFundMe campaign, but to give my new book and the American Revenant series as a whole the best chance at success I feel I need to do it.  I write to tell a story, and I love doing it, but as a husband and father every thing I do leads back to my family.  I want to provide a quality life for them, and I also want to produce quality work that people can enjoy.  We, like many families these days, live paycheck to paycheck, and that is a situation I despise.  If, through this campaign, I can boost the chance of success for the series then I most certainly will do it, even if I dislike the thought of asking others for money to do it.  I believe my writing has merit, otherwise I would not even try to publish and sell it to the general public.  The market for independently published authors is a fast growing and rapidly changing one, and I feel that the only way to be truly successful in it is to stand out, to make one’s own work rise above the rest, in quality and appearance.

It is this thought that has moved me to start the GoFundMe campaign, in hopes that others may see the value in what I do, and why I do it, and possibly be generous enough to help me make happen that which I would be unable to on my own. Please share your thoughts with me on this, leave me a message or comment.  If you would like to check out my campaign, please do so here, My Campaign.
Thank you.
